Blood plasma
Consists of three major components: red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets.
Contains lots of heat energy, important for maintaining constant temperature which allows enzymes to work at their optimum temperature

Phagocyte
phagocyte eats engulf pathogens, referred to as the process of phagocytosis

Target all foreign cells or particals, called the non-specific immune response
Lymphocytes

Bind to pathogens and cause them to clump together, process is referred to as agglutination.

o have no nucleus, to increase the internal space for hemoglobin to occupy
