Dis-identify form the mind
End the delusion of time.
Past and Future - both are illusion
The Present moment is all you ever have.
(The now is precious)
identification with the mind gives it more energy;
Observations of the mind withdraws energy from it.
Clock time
Make a mistake and learn from it now.
No identification with the past and
continuous projection of the future
Setting goals and working them
Psychological time
Make a mistake and dwell on it and Self-critisize.
All negativity is caused by accumulation of psychological time and denial of the present.
Future => All forms of fear (stress, worry, anxiety, tension)
Past => Guilt, regret, bitterness, sadness, grievances and all forms of Non-forgiveness
Set a goal
I) Work towards it and
give full attention to it
=> Clock time
or II) Excessively focused on the goal
Seeking happiness or fulfillment
on achieving the goal
=> Psychological time
Material (wealth) gain is not of much value.
You are still suffering.
Ask yourself -
Is there joy, ease or lightness in what I am doing?
If not, then psychological time.
Give much more attention to what you are doing
than to the results that you want to achieve through it.
[Gita] Give attention to the action itself,
Don't be concerned with the fruit of your action.
Neither success nor failure has the power
to change your inner state of Being.
