Unlike Common Law, the terms of contract under UCC can be vague; i.e., only type and quantity of goods need to be explicit. Accordingly, the contract between Smith and Peters is a valid contract to sell one personal computer for $600. However, as there are no specific delivery terms, Smith, the seller, is obligated to hold the personal computer until Peters, the buyer, picks it up. Peters, on the other hand, is entitled to inspect the computer before paying for it.
