Article 88
Education must address the harmonious and comprehensive development of the student within social coexistence, in physical, intellectual, moral, aesthetic and civic aspects.
Article 89
It is recognized that the purpose of Panamanian education is to foster in the student a national awareness based on knowledge of the history and problems of the country.

Official Education
Article 91
Official education is free at all pre-university levels. The General Basic education level is compulsory.
Article 92
The Law will determine the state agency that will prepare and approve the plans, programs and educational levels
Private Education
Article 95
Only academic and professional titles issued by the State or authorized by it in accordance with the Law are recognized.
Article 96
Education will be given in the official language, but for reasons of public interest it can be given in a foreign language.

Article 1
The personnel that teaches, or directs, or organizes or supervises in social educational institutions under the Ministry of Education, will have the common name of "Educator" and will be subject to the classification and remuneration established by Law.
Teacher Classification
Grade A: A1, B1, C1, D1, D2, D3, D4

Grade G: G1, G2, G3, G4, G5
Grade H: H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, H7, H8 H9
Salaries

The base salary of the grade corresponding to the position in which they are classified in accordance with the condition of the appointment
