As you stated on the day that you wanted to discuss the matter further and because I realised that at that time it was not the right time to talk about it, I thought we could chat about it today.
It all started with you forgetting your pencil case.
This is ok, I could have sent you to go get it from your locker, but to save time I just lent you my pencil and pen.
Whilst you were writing up your experiment you then needed a ruler, which I did not have.
I then asked you to ask Dan if you could borrow his.
I told you exactly what you had to say and that Dan would lend you the ruler when you asked.
At this point, to me, you appeared quite anxious and nervous.

Noting how you felt and because you would not tell me what the issue was, I decided that it would have been best if we went outside for a bit, so we could help you relax and find out what was wrong.

Once in the room, I tried to get you to talk to me, but you felt you couldn't. We then communicated with pieces of paper with words written on them.

Firstly I want to say how proud I am that you wanted to talk about something that was clearly so difficult for you.
I also want to commend you on how by the end of the lesson you had put it all behind you and you were smiling and happy.
