Being a Rho Gamma gave me a sense of purpose to help the freshman find their sororities and made me feel like I was able to support other people
Felt a sense of pride for being chosen for roles and made me feel deserving and that my value was recognized

Greek Life Pressure

Culture of superiority both made me feel validated because I felt like I had been "chosen" and deemed good enough to be in a sorority that was considered "top" while also made me feel like I had to prove that I was good enough

Parents Divorce

Exposed me to reality that life can go wrong and forced me to accept that things can not always be perfect or what you want
This was very difficult to accept at first but ultimately taught me how to adapt and become more resilient

Eating Disorder
Resulted from not feeling good enough, others making fun of me and wanting to fit in and have control in life

Resurfaced as a coping mechanism many times when I felt I had no control such as during my parents divorce and Covid
