PM managers and a "buddy" introduce Induction document make sure access to learning lab
Day 2 Mandatory Learning Via Learning lab either work or home Managers Discretion.
Day 3-5 First clinical shift with buddy and meet Practice Educators.
Week 2 to the end of week 4
Supernumerary time working through Induction document with Buddies and Practice educators.
Fulfil all Mandatory training
Get Experience of whole trust
Begin to understand role
Start work on care Certificate
partake in CSW development week between week 1-4
Keep in touch Week 4/5
Start date identified booked onto Trust induction
Induction Role Specific booked preferably in first 2 weeks after starting
Keep in touch Week 2 welcome card
Keep in touch Week Three discuss how we support them. Discuss Buddy system.
Organise a ward visit Meet the manager & uniform fit
Start Keep in touch Emails Week 1
Next section dependent on notice period.
Recruitment discusses with Ward Manager and Learning and development.
Occupational Health Review.

Begin Preceptorship course.

Oversees Nurses.
OSCE Preparation 8 weeks
Successful OSCE EXAM
5 day preparation for practice course
Day 1 Clinical
8 weeks Supernumerary
Preceptorship course for next 12-24 months
Week 4 Supernumerary reviewed by practice educators and personal action plan created for next 4 weeks.
Commence same pathway as R/N for Mandatory training etc.
During this week be introduced to Ward managers
Pastoral Support from practice educators
Help to settle in.
