we use
first conditional
to talk about the result of a
possible situation
in the
future
The negative structure is this: they are made with will not or the short form won't.
Example If I won't fail the test
example: If Jane gets the new job, she'll need to move to Poland.
The affirmative structure is: If + present simple, will + infinitive verb.
second conditional
we use
second conditipnal
to talk about the result of on imaginary situtation
If you won the lottery, you would travel the whole world.
the second conditional, you use if + s+ verb ( past simple) +s+ wouldn't + infinitive
The structure of the second conditional is :
If + Past Simple + Subject + Would + Infinitive
example : If I had a car, I wouldn't be so late for work.
third conditional
We use
third conditional
to talk about the result of a
situation
in the
past.
If my family had gone to London, we would have learned English faster
in the negation of the third conditional must be included in both clauses by adding not after had (had not) or would (would not).
the form of the third conditional must use the past perfect and the past participle. i
If you hadn't spoken so loudly, she wouldn't have found out.
