Third Conditional
AFFIRMATIVE
If + S + had + verb (past participle) or +ed, + S + would + have + (past participle) or +ed
·Example: If they had woken up earlier, they would have arrived in time.
NEGATIVE
If + S + hadn't + verb (past participle) or +ed, + S + wouldn't + have + (past participle) or +ed
·Example: If they hadn't prepared their presentations, they wouldn't have known how to present them.

AFFIRMATIVE
If + S + verb (past simple), + S + would + verb (infinitive)
·Example: If he had a lot of money, he would live in New York.
NEGATIVE
If + S + didn't + verb (past simple), + S + wouldn't + verb (infinitive)
·Example: If he didn't rehearse on the piano, the concert wouldn't be easy for him.

If + S + verb (present simple), + S + will + verb (infinitive)
·Example: If I have a plane ticket, I will go to London.
NEGATIVE
If + S + don't/doesn't + verb (present simple), + S + won't + verb (infinitive)
·Example: If I don't have money, I won't eat in this restaurant.
(Unless = If not), because we use them to talk about something that can happen or be true as a consequence of a particular situation.
If not
If + S + negative verb + verb, + S + affirmative or negative verb + verb
·Example: If you don't wake up early, you won't get to school on time.
Unless
Unless + S + affirmative verb + verb, + S + affirmative or negative verb + verb
·Example: Unless you have a ticket, you won't get into the cinema.
