CONDITIONAL SENTENCES
Third conditional:
We use third conditional to talk about the result of a situation in the past
Form: If+ S+ had/hadn't+ verb (past participle), S+ would+ have+ verb (past participle)
+: If we had had more time, we would have visited Camp Nou.
-: If I hadn't played soccer, I wouldn't have been injured.
Second consitional:
We use second conditional to talk about the result of an imaginary situation
Form: If+ S+ verb (past simple), S+ would/ wouldn't+ verb (infinitive)
+: If I had a lot of money, I would buy a mansion
-: If I didn't speak French, I wouldn't be a teacher.
First condicional
We use first condicional to talk about the result of a possible situation in the future
Form: If+ S+ verb (present simple), S+ will/won't+ verb (infinitive)
-: If he doesn't do his homework, he won't pass
+: If I have time, I will visit my grandparents
Unless
"Unless" means the same thing as if + not.
Second conditional: Unless he was very ill, he would be at school.
Third conditional: Unless we had had more money, we would have buy the Ps5
Fist conditional: Unless you study Chinese, you will never understand the language.
Form: It is the same way as with the if
