After hitting 1000 stores locally, Jollibee started to go international by putting up store branches in key cities of the world where Filipinos live. Another one is McDonald's, which started as a fast-food chain inside the U.S. military bases in the Philippines catering to the Americans who live and work inside Clark Airbase in Angeles City, Pampanga, and Subic Naval Base Olongapo City, Zambales.
