"free trade policy" - Trade without barriers. (Taxes on imports and exports, tariffs/ quotas, Privatization / decentralization of goods such as trains, gas, water and postal services). Tax free exports = lower cost of product.
Aims of international trade organisations - The IMF (international monetary funds) Provide loans to countries in agreement for adopting free trade policies. IMF sees that this will attract TNC's for the area.
World Bank - Gives out loans - poverty reduction strategy - often the economic aims are the same as the IMF = free trade.
World trade organisation - advocates fair, equal + free trade and remove protectionism + government regulation of the market + encourage un-taxed goods.

Social safety nets: Governments and non-governmental organizations provide financial assistance or other forms of support to people living in poverty.
Education and skills training: Education and skills training can help people acquire the knowledge and abilities they need to find better-paying jobs, which can help them lift themselves out of poverty.
Addressing underlying issues: Tackling poverty also requires addressing underlying issues such as discrimination, inequality, and lack of access to basic services like healthcare and education.
International aid: Developed countries provide international aid to developing countries to support programs and projects that address poverty.
