Louis Philippe of Orleans’ reign was becoming more conservative
A revolution in which the Second French Republic was proclaimed
He proclaimed the Second French Empire -> Napoleon III was crowned
The Revolution of 1848 spread ->Austria, the German Confederation, Italy and Russia.
2 The consolidation of liberal regimesThere was also hostility
Workers and radical liberals called themselves democrats
They organised themselves into political parties to promote their ideas and interests.
