Female reproductive system
Function: the functions of the female reproductive system are to produce ova (sex cells)

stage 2
The constractions push the baby into the cervix and from there into vagina, and then out of the body. This is a vaginal birth

Finally, the umbilical cord is cut and the placenta separates body

day 1-5
The uterus releases the lining of blood and tissue.
day 6- 10
The levels of hormones, oestrogen and progesterone begin to rise
day 14
The ovum is released into one of the fallopian tubes.

The uterine lining starts to thicken with blood and nutrients to prepare for a possible pregnancy

Puberty
Sexual characteristics
Primary: are present from birth.
Secondary: develop in puberty
Changes in boys/male:
Male hormones starts to be produced, your voice deepens, hair grows in your chest and face and you penis and testicles get bigger.
changes in female/girls:
female hormones starts to be produced, menstruation begins, your breasts grow, you may get more hair on your arms and legs
BOTH:
Acne or pimples may appear on your face, neck or back,hair grow in your body and in your pubic area, you sweat more and you grow taller
