Operational Doctrine
The Prime Directive:
-
To develop players and coaches that relentlessly pursue excellence by striving for perfection and giving Maximum Effort in everything they do.
Teamwork: is the most critical component of a successful football team. No football team can reach its potential without it.
Preparation: Preparing our athletes by developing the skills and techniques necessary for them to be successful. Preparation includes analyzing the systems and tendencies of our opponents in all three phases of the game.
Precision: It starts with stance and works its way through all the skills and techniques outlined here. We will set high standards for athletes and coaches. Example: “We want the ball exactly 12 inches from the numbers”
Planning: Gathering and analyzing information on our opponents and using the parts of our systems that take advantage of their weaknesses.
Poise: The ability to remain calm in the face of adversity. Panic and loss of control of emotions will infect the team and then you have lost the discipline necessary to overcome adversity.
