What is it?
We are all secularists because we do not believe in a theocracy. Instead, we believe in a separation of church and state. The degree of this varies, but we all believe that they are not the same thing.
However, the view of secularism has shifted. Instead of just believing the church and government are separate, it now means that God is not involved at all.
This new view of secularism means that the state is the only authority. This leads to the state telling the church what to do, which can be viewed as atheist fundamental secularism.
Secularism is everywhere in today's society. It is shown as a desire for individualism and self-aestheticism. However, it makes it hard for Christians to profess their faith because it wants nothing to do with religion. It is a belief that old morality is not useful and was something that people used to not have a choice when it came to following it. However, the US was founded on religious morals.
