Sometimes trust comes despite dishonesty - Father has not been completely honest with Christopher regarding several things
Father hid from Christopher the fact that he killed Wellington - this broke the trust between him & Christopher who became really frightened of him

Christopher has several behavioural problems - doesn't like to be touched, doesn't like to be in corwded places, cannot eat food if it is touching each other, etc
His mental disability caused great stress on his Mother in taking care of him
