Introduction:
1.No one told me that sleep deprivation would:-Make me so incredibly angry.Lead me to be impulsive and aggressive.Cause irritably when my child wakes throughout the night.Trigger feelings at rage when my child skips naps.Bring up resentment because my partner is getting more sleep
2Motherhood is harder than I thought(like a lot harder)I worry a lot about keeping my child safe.I can’t take another sick spell.Sleep deprivation is hardest thing so far.I’m constantly thinking about milestones and development.The whining gets me every time.I always feel like I’m rushing around.So many people have opinions about how I Parent.
3.Mom truth: “I’m afraid to tell you I’m struggling because….I feel so much shame.You’ll think I don’t love my baby.You’ll ignore me or distance yourself.You’ll tell me to snap out of it.You’ll think I’m complaining or ungrateful.You won’t know how to help me.I’m scared you’ll take my baby away.

Conclusion:-Sometime I miss my Old Life. FYI Missing my old life doesn’t mean I love my children any less.
