Sahara desert's average rainfall is 3 inches (76mm) per year, and there most rainfall is in December to march, august occasionally having high rainfall due to thunderstorms and floods.

the Sahara desert is one of the hottest and driest regions in the world, with the average high temperature being 40 C, sometimes going up to 47 C. The hottest months in the Sahara deserts are normally July-August.

Animal
The Sahara desert food web starts of with palm trees and bushes being producers, which will be consumed by saharan ants or desert rats which are the primary consumers, then secondary consumers such as the monitor lizard or the Jerboa will consume them, and the large predators such as the fennec fox, Lapped face vulture and the desert hawk will consume them, and when they die the worms will decompose them and the nutrients will go back into the trees and bushes.
Biotic threats of the Sahara desert are the king snakes and dangerous animals, and some abiotic threats are the extremely dry climate and the low rainfall.
Plant
Since the Sahara desert has low rainfall and dry temperatures, theres mostly just scattered grass, shrub, and trees in the highlands. Due to the dry temperatures, most plants has adapted to have roots that can go up to 80 ft into the ground.
Human
People in the Sahara desert wear robes to protect them from the harsh climate. They are split into 2 types of people, some are predominantly nomads, who move from place to place depending on the seasons, while some live in permanent communities near water sources.
