The jaguar is an apex predator. They regulate the population of their prey (fish, snakes, etc.) who then regulate the population of their prey, and so on.
Yes, this might sound disgusting, but jaguar faeces does provide nutrients (like fiber) to plants.

The rainforest biome remains warm all year and stays frost-free. The average daily temperatures ranges from 20°C to 25°C.

Humans are clearing the Amazon, resulting in habitat loss.
In order to save the jaguars from extinction, we have to stop deforestation.
