BONE PHYSIOLOGY
BONE DEVELOMPMENT
Bone can be formed by direct mineralization of matrix secreted by osteoblasts or deposition of bone matrix on cartilage matrix
In the area of the epiphyseal and metaphyseal plates, 5 processes of reinforcement zones can be found

BONE MATRIX
Approximately 50% of the dry weight of bone matrix is inorganic material. such as bicarbonate, citrate, magnesium, potassium and sodium.
Not only inorganic material, there is also organic matter immersed in the bone matrix, namely type 1 collagen.
Other tissues containing type 1 collagen usually do not contain osteocalcin or vesicle matrix and are not usually classified
CARTILAGE
