In 2022, 1 in 6 New Zealanders are more than 65 years old, and it is expected to grow to 1 in 5 by 2028.
Isolation
New Zealand finds itself in an isolated corner of the world, and, while it is not a huge problem right now, historically it has remained isolated, and not many people hear about this country.
