Anadiplosis
Definition: Repetition of the final words of a sentence or line at the begining of the next.
Anaphora
Definition: The repition of a word or phrase at the begining od successive clauses.
"I glared at him. I know"
Antithesis
Definiton: A contrast or opposition bewteen two things
"I shrugged and gazed across the water to where the lighthouse was standing up on its rock, high and white as its truth itself
Ansydeton
Definiton: Omission of conjunctions that ordinarily join words or clauses
"well I understood, respected and I knew him well."
Epanalepsis
Definition: Repetion after intervening words
he delt fair and square no matter who you were and was often more fair
Epistrophe
Definition: The reptition of a word at the end of successive clauses or sentinces
"Maybe he was on the landings at Tylers lane. Wearing an evening suit? Well maybe he is a high roller from Newport and tried to double cross somebody and they found out. Or they treid to double cross him."
Polysyndenton
Using conjuntions in close succession especially where some would ushally be omitted
