The people were just protesting against the new acts that they felt were unfair to the people of america. so when more protest started happening the british deployed troops to boston. That led to british soldiers shooting 5 americans dead in the protest.

alexander hamilton
Alexander hamilton was an American who is a military officer and fought in the american revolutionary war. He was Washington's right hand man. And he lead his troops to win his battles and eventually won the war.

george Washington
He became the commander in chief in the army to fight for the american revolution. He also decided that he best way to fight in the early stages of revolting was to just harass the british. George washington would fight along side Hamilton to fight and win the war and the last battle.

The british raised the price of molasse to make more money because it can be used to make rum which is widely popular at the time essentially forces businesses to buy the british and expensive molasses.

Before the Britain's american colonies were more independent until Britain parliament passed a number acts to further intertwine the economies of the two nations. This caused a the people of America to want to revolt because of the unfairness of these new acts.

gaspee affair
The gaspee affair was a big event that took place that lead to the american revolution. The americans torched and burned down the Gaspee (is a boat) because those americans wanted more control of the trade industry. And they very openly protested the stamp act.
