It's been several years since high school had finished up. During this time most of your fellow peers had taken the time to get a degree or certificate of some kind in order to get a job.
You however believed that one measly piece of paper wasn't going to do anything and you skipped over the months of student debt in hopes a job would fall into your lap.
Unfortunately it didn't quite work out that way as you've been hopping between every possible part-time job just to pay your rent.
Rent is what you told your friends though leading them to believe you were living in an apartment of sorts. In reality it was paying your parents to let you stay at their house since with the lack of work you certainly couldn't afford a place of your own.
You decided that today was the day you caved in. You jumped on your computer and looked to see if any University courses were open and available. The kicker was you had just missed the mark to sign up for a full course and anything you may have found remotely interesting was booked out.
Even the crappy courses for all the local Universities were booked out so you widened the search margins and thankfully, a course did show up.
Advanced Data Science and Management. It was from some University you had never heard of but it was at the very least available. While you would have despised going in to lectures and classes about the subject it stated that it was an online course.
No need for travel, no looking up bus routes or anything. Without reading anymore you signed yourself up, clicking away at any User Agreements that showed up and soon enough you were signed up for the course.
There was no turning back now as the website accepted your Debit Card. You were re-directed to a new page asking you to download a proprietary program for the course. You hadn't heard of an online course needing it's own software but at the same time you were no expert.
You downloaded, unpacked and opened up the installer to which you were prompted by a few questions.
