Research carried out on attention has mainly been associated with the selective processing of incoming sensory information.
Using existing research, critically discuss the contribution of cognitive psychology to our understanding of attention and consider factors that may impact on our ability to process incoming sensory information.

Assessment Task
Students are required to script and generate supporting presentation slides (using prezi or Powerpoint software) explaining a debate focused on Individual Differences (e.g. the ability of psychometric measures to successfully identify individual differences in …). Students will then record a 10-minute podcast incorporating these slides, which will then be uploaded to Moodle before the assessment deadline.
