DİAGNOSİS:
HBsAg: active infection its presence more than 6 moths indicates chronic-during viral replication (chronic or acute)
HBsAb: protection from infection can be found after recovery or vaccine
HBcAg:(not important )Not detectable in serum,Found in hepatocytes
İgM anti HBcAg: active virus replication acute(recent)
seen in window period -acute or chronic form (generally acute infection)
IgG anti HBcAg :long past exposure (recovery)
remains positive for life, it has contact with virus, chronic
HBeAg: released during replication + in acute infection - high level means high infectivity
HBeAb:does not prevent to progression to the chronic
HBV-DNA: most sensitive indicator of viral replication
ACUTE FORM: + HBsAg, HBcAb IgG +,HBcAb IgM+, HBsAb-, HBV DNA +
CHRONİC FORM: +HBsAg,-HBsAb,HBcAb IgG +, HBcAb IgM+/-, HBV DNA +/-
VACCİNATİON: HBsAb+ OTHER -
