Procedure Text
The procedure or Instruction is clear and easy for the reader to understand, there are several things that need attention, including the following:
Use simple language.
Explain the material or list of materials needed at the beginning of the Procedure text.
Each step must follow the other steps in a certain order.
It will be easier for the reader to follow the steps that must be followed if they are numbered.
The suggested instructions should be very clear and precise.
Provides detailed information on what to do.
Sometimes diagrams can be used to explain a procedure or instructions for doing something.
It will be more helpful if a diagram or photo of the product produced is shown so that the person doing the recommended procedure can predict what they will produce.
Linguistic Features
Using action verbs and commands: Pour some water into the ....
Sometimes sentences start with a time marker indicating the sequence of steps, such as: First, Second, etc. First....
Sometimes the sentences are preceded by a word, phrase or clause indicating when a step was taken: When the spot is dry, record the time it has taken.
Sometimes sentences start with an adverb of manner or a word, phrase or clause that shows how to do something:
With them asuring too, fill the bottle... Carefully... Quickly...
Use technical words or language, depending on the topic you are writing about. If the Procedure is about experiments, the words relate to experiments, as well as other topics.
Provide a detailed description of the object or equipment used, including shape, size, color, quantity. used, including shape, size, color, quantity.
Organizational Structure
Aim: states the purpose and predicts the conclusions that may occur.
Materials and tools: write down the tools or apparatus and materials or objects studied.
Steps: describes the sequential steps that need to be performed to complete an experiment or procedure.

Procedure is a type of text that we often encounter in everyday life, in manuals, in recipes, and so on.
Purpose
Procedure aims to show how something is done, or show the reader how to do something or action in a certain order.
