- - - - Position: how we stand/position our bodies, whether we fold our arms or incline our heads. Additionally, where we position ourselves in relation to others in the room is a display of body language.
      - Facial expressions: smiles, frowns and raised eyebrows express our mood towards the conversation.
      - Eye contact: if we look at others during a conversation (and how we look at others) can effect the mood and topic of conversation. For example, staring, looking away, sideways, or over someone's shoulder.
      - Physical reactions: perspiring, breathing rapidly, stuttering, quivering or blushing.
  - - - The part of communication outside of spoken words.
      - Includes the volume, speed, intonation of voice along with gestures.
      - Paralinguistics can often be responsible for blame and confusion within a conversation.
