End: Reveals how reported events return to normal (after a disturbance in the lead)
Definition
Text that tells the events that happened around and the people involved in the incident.
Language Features
The people involved are common, and can also be very famous
If weather or natural occurrence news: use many of technical words
If fact news: Use past tense
The language features of a news story depend on the topic being reported
Note
There should be no element of plagiarism in student writing, must use a clear source in writing the text
Expression to express events quoted from other sources
"It said in the Kompas on the 5th of October that ..."
"It is reported in ... that"
Students must read and use references to support their writing
Expressions to include references, ex: from books, magazines, or other sources
"It is believed that ..."
'Someone (an authority or an expert of an issue reported) said ...."
