Irregular Verbs – Simple Past Tense (Part A)
Past Tense is used in Regular and Irregular Verbs but only for Affirmative Sentences, for example: he went.
Examples of irregular verbs in simple past:
Begin - Began
Drink - Drank
Speak - Spoke

Regular Verbs – Simple Past Tense (Part A)
Most verbs in English are regulars that form the Past Tense adding the suffix –ed to the Present: he worked. However, this ending is only added to affirmative sentences.
Examples of Regular verbs:
Work - Worked
Play - Played
Ask - Asked
Unit 2
Regular Verbs – Simple Past Tense (Part B)
“Did” is used for negative sentences and questions as well for short answers as the only
sign of past tense.
Unit 4
Irregular Verbs – Simple Past Tense (Part B)
The verb form does not change for any person as the Present Simple Tense in Past
Tense.
