Taiga
Salmon
Pink salmons do live in the rivers of the taiga, but what they do is they hatch their eggs there and develop in rivers before making it towards the ocean
Salmons can glide smoothly in the water, as their body is perfectly fit for it
The salmon’s fins are not only built for endurance but for the necessary bursts of speed to attack its prey when the time is just right. These quick bursts are primarily derived from the fish’s utilization of its oversized tail fin.
Salmon swallow their prey in whole, as they used their sharp teeth to hold the prey in their mouths before swallowing

Soil type
The soil in the taiga is spodosol. It is very thin, acidic, not very nutrient rich and rocky. This makes the plantations nearby having to adapt to this environment immediately otherwise it would not be living.
