Christianity, Judaism & Islam are all apocalyptic religions meaning that that they believe that the end of the world will occur at some stage.
Apocalypses is also related to eschatology, which is the part of the religion that relates to death & the final destiny of the soul.
This means that the Christian religion believe that the end of the world is near, this calls for immediate repentance also called 'metonia'.

Meaning that in Christianity "good news" is when a member turns away from sin and accepts God through Jesus.
Resulting on the spirit of the lord working with this person, who has turned away from sin.
God sent Jesus to help people who have turned away from God, build a relationship with him.

Christianity is very different to Judaism due to the fact that the Torah plays a major part in their religion.
However during Jesus' ministry he was once asked by Pharisee, "What commandment was the greatest commandment ?"
Jesus replied by saying "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind."
This was the first greatest commandment, the second is "Love your neighbour as you love yourself".

Christianity is a religion of Salvation, meaning that a relationship is built with God throughout a Christians life.
This is done through acts of love, kindness, compassion etc. more of these acts result in a stronger relationship with God being built.
However, if Christians sins or fail to live by the expectations of the Kingdom of God, their relationship with God will degrade.
Christians believe that Jesus will judge the world at the end of time, those who have a good relationship with God will be blessed with eternal happiness.
