NEGATIVE FORM: S+wasn't/weren't + v (participle - R-ed
or I-3c). They weren't called to clean up the playground.
INTERROGATIVE FORM: wh Was/Were+S+v (participle -
R-ed or I-3c)? Who was seen doing homework last night?
POSITIVE FORM: S+was (I,she,he,it)/were + v (participle
- R-ed or I-3c). I was hated by all of them.

USE
We often use the passive voice when it is not clear or important who does something.
However, sometimes we do include the agent (the thing or person who does something) when we use the passive. To indicate the agent we use by.
