difference between DNA, chromosome, and gene
chromosome
In the nucleus of each cell, the DNA molecule is packaged into thread-like structures called chromosomes. Each chromosome is made up of DNA tightly coiled many times around proteins called histones that support its structure.
gene
-
The functional and physical unit of heredity passed from parent to offspring. Genes are pieces of DNA, and most genes contain the information for making a specific protein.
DNA
DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Nearly every cell in a person’s body has the same DNA. Most DNA is located in the cell nucleus (where it is called nuclear DNA), but a small amount of DNA can also be found in the mitochondria (where it is called mitochondrial DNA or mtDNA).
definition
conditions caused by changes to the genes or chromosomes. Inherited disorders are caused by gene mutations.

Mendel's theory
Mendel's theory I
theory of free segregation. This theory states that during the formation of gametes, each pair of genes will be segregated into the gametes that are formed.
-
Mendel's theory II
independent assortment. The content of this theory is that the segregation of a gene pair does not depend on the segregation of other gene pairs. So that in the gametes that are formed there will be an independent selection of gene combinations.
