1st. Quality: It means that the information must be a true reflection of reality, this is essential for managers.
2nd. Opportunity: When it is necessary to apply corrective measures, it must be done on time, in order to achieve effective control, avoiding deviation from the initially set objectives.
3rd. Quantity: It refers to the fact that the information delivered must be complete, precise and important, excessive irrelevant information should not be delivered, because it can lead managers to make wrong decisions.
4th. Relevance: All this information that is delivered to the manager must be that of his tasks, responsibility and/or department.
