Islam beliefs
Sunni and Shi'a (faith)
within the religion of Islam, there is two key denominations of the faith which are Sunni and Shi'a.
There is plenty of key differences which separate the two faiths, one including that Sunni muslims believe that Muhammad (PBUH) is the only prophet and after he died, there would be no more prophets. However, in Shi'a, Ali (his cousin) would be appointed as prophet.
Most of their fundamental beliefs are at large the same but there a few more in Shi'a such as imamate and the day of resurrection.

Similarities between the two denominations is that both believe in the oneness of God (Tawhid), the Qur'an is the word of God and the same prophet will be acknowledged.
Angels
-
Angels are deemed to be immortal and were made out of the light. They also have zero free will, linking into the fact that they must obey every command from Allah.
They can appear in human form and some of them have key specific roles. The main angels are Jibriel (Gabriel), Mika'il (michael) and israfil (raphael). ''God is aware of whatever good you do''. ''Every community is sent a messenger.''
Life after death
Otherwise known as Akhirah, believing in the afterlife will encourage other Muslims to take responsibility and accountability for whatever actions they take.
Akhirah can explain why humans exist on Earth so that they can be rewarded or punished for whatever positive or negative impact they have on Earth.
they will enter Barzakh once they have died, a waiting period for Muslims until the day of judgement arrives.

Allah is transcendent, omnipotent, omnibenevolent, imanent, beneficent and merciful.
