    - - Aquatic animals experience water resistance that resist their movement when they move in water
      - Aquatic animals may have these structural adaptions generally that help them overcome water resistance so that they can move through water easily
    - - Similarly to animals moving in water, animals experience air resistance when they move in the air
      - In order to make their movement more smoothly in the air, most birds have the following adaptations generally

        Flight muscles
        
        Hollow bones
        
        Wings
        
        Feathers
