- - - - The web needs internet to function
        In a way, the Internet would be equivalent to infrastructure —the roads of countries around the world— while the content of web pages is what travels on that infrastructure —cars, trucks, buses— to transport information.
        The shops, companies, cafes... that sit on these roads so that citizens (internet users) can enter the web pages would be the servers that host them.
        If there were no internet, no one would be able to communicate over the World Wide Web because there would be no way to send that data.
        And without the World Wide Web, most of us would find it extremely difficult (and much more expensive) to access all the information available to us today.
- - - - Conclusions on computer security
        Taking action on security is synonymous with protecting information against unauthorized access, loss or theft. But so is protecting reputation, preventing sensitive or confidential information from being published, and complying with privacy and data protection regulations.
        Remember that cybersecurity is a priority for companies. In matters of information, employees and customers, protection must come first. Cybersecurity threats are increasing for SMEs, micro-SMEs and large companies, as cybercriminals search for vulnerabilities to steal information.
- - - - CLASSIFICATION
        Depending on the distance between computers, networks are called in one way or another. If the computers are within the same geographical area, such as a room, a building or a campus (maximum of the order of 1 km), it is called a Local Area Network.
        If the distance is of the order of tens of kilometers then it is before a Metropolitan Area Network (Metropolitan Area Network).
        If the distance is several hundred kilometers then it is called a Wide Area Network and if it is a network that covers the entire planet then it is called the Internet.
        
        LAN
        There are three characteristic parameters of a computer network: its size, its transmission technology, and its topology.
        MAN
        Metropolitan area networks or MAN are based on a technology similar to LANs and are capable of transmitting data, voice and local cable TV signal, it has its own standard arbitration mechanism called Distributed Queue Dual Bus DQDB or Dual Queue Bus Distributed.
        WAN
        Wide Area Networks or WANs. It is made up of a set of machines designed to run application programs which are in turn connected by a subnet.
