Types of Exposition
Analytical Exposition
Analytical Exposition, according to Martin (1985) is Exposition "to persuade that" to justify an opinion or interperformance.
Hortatory Exposition
Hortatory Exposition is an Exposition "to persuade to" (Martin, 1985; Gerot, 1998) or convinces or persuades someone or the reader to do something.
Purpose
Exposition aims to express arguments about an issue and justify it. Exposition is usually found in essays, editorials, political debates or commentaries.
