I identify why I think/ feel that way.
I continue to observe over a week or two if the concerning behavior persists.
Invite student to talk about work, performance and what they maybe struggling with, to rule out distractions, short-term issues, or reaction to being challenged in the classroom.

Follow, step-by-step, the procedure outlined by the school.
Additionally, involve the parents as soon as possible. Usually, without parental consent, such interventions cannot be conducted.

Regardless, immediately implement to the best of my abilities, proven/ recommended differentiated instruction methods to reinforce the classroom environment and provide any additional accommodations.
