Using action verbs
Sometimes sentences start with timestamps indicating the order of steps
Sometimes the sentence is preceded by a phrase or clause that indicates when a step is taken
Sometimes sentences start with the adverb of manner Which shows how to do something
Using words or technical language
Give a detailed description of the object or tool used
Use simple language
Describe the materials or list of materials needed at the beginning of the procedure text
Each step must follow the other steps in a certain order
It will be easier for the reader to follow the steps that must be followed if they are numbered
The suggested instructions should be very clear and precise
Provide detailed information
