Scientists believe that 220 million years ago all of the continents were joined as one supercontinent, Pangaea.

They also found some fossils, rocks and deserts where they thought the continents would join.

Migration
The population geography of the UK has changed significantly in the last 50 years as a result of internal national migration and international migration.
Migration is the movement of people. National is within the same country. International is moving abroad.

International migration has occurred because economic growth in the UK is attractive to many EU members who are allowed to move here.
International migration has occurred because people have fled fighting in their own country (A refugee) e.g. Syria
