An intendent was the the cheif administator of the colony and put the colony in line. He made it organized.
Bishop

The Bshop was a key part in forming New France and colonies. It gave them schools, hospitals etc..
Some of the members at this church also played an improtant part in government. People go to this church for guidance as well.
Governor
A governor also controlled all the military and looked after the colony and defended it. This was a big job.

The New France tried persuading the First Nations people to become catholic and New France put out operations.
The church made hospitals, schools and even orphanges in the New France. It also played a very major part in governing New France
Soldiers
The King wanted men from the military settle in New France so he hired Seigneurs to convince them to come on their land.

Fur Traders
Merchants
Merchants made their living off of the fur trade. They imported goods and richs from France and gave them to the First Nations for furs.

Merchants excluded blacksmiths, shoemakers, masons, bakers etcc.

This term comes from the way many men got into the fur trade. They did this by running and finding First Nations to trade with

Voyageurs were men who travelled to the fur merchants of Montreal and the fur trades at the great lakes. These voyageurs were from NEw France.
