Make your instructions brief and clear
Make frequent eye contact
Adjust work time so as to match attention spans
Provide frequent breaks as necessary
Provide a quiet work area where students can concentrate
Establish and use a secret signal to inform students they are off task or misbehaving
Teach relaxation techniques for longer work
Break an assignment into manageable segments
2.3Students Who Have Hearing/Visual/Physical Impairments
Seat students in a place where they can have a good vision
Use bold lines and highlight key words
Provide sufficient space for students to manoeuvre
Encourage students to participate in all activities.
Establish a rotating series of "helpers"to assist physically disabled students.

Give the student a sense of responsibility by putting him/her in charge of something
