Digital Art And Coding are both used, Somewhat detailed understanding of digital art is needed and same for coding. (Help fulfil the learning goal while also being attainable.)
Art would not help achieve the learning goal at all, after interactions with several different art aficionados I was able to find out that Digital Art and Art done on physical planes are extremely different. Some skills transfer over however it would still take time to learn digital art again.
