Would it be immoral for a country like Qatar with the current allegations of human rights abuse regarding stadium construction and the LGBTQ choices to continue hosting the world cup?
yes
-
LGBTQ repression
because this is the WORLD cup many people believe that everyone from around the entire WORLD should be allowed to go to Qatar feeling safe and having the same hospitality as others would receive regardless of their stance on LGBTQ.
people in Qatar who are part of the LGBTQ are often taken into asylums and forcefully 'converted' to 'normal'.
Qataris themselves also face death if they stand up for LGBTQ rights which is a violation of 'human rights'

no
part of their religion
as for drinking, drinking is forbidden in the country as it is a Muslim nation and forbids haram stuff. Because of this, we need to respect the country's own choices and rules and respect the religion itself.
public acts of love is also not allowed in the religion and therefore in Qatar which we also have to respect
being part of the LGBTQ is also something that is not allowed in Qatar and Islam and has been since the founding of the religion which has probably been there longer than the LGBTQ movement itself

Money spent
One main thing is also about the money spent on building the stadiums and the permits and stuff taken to do it. This was done by Qatar over the years and cannot be taken back.
these allegations have also come fairly recently meaning taking back the world cup would be devastating. if offences like these were brought up when Qatar had bid for the rights to host the world cup it would have surely brought it down and given the rights to another country then
