THE SECOND JOURNEY, THE BROBDINGNAG (1702 - 1706)
Gulliver is traveling again when he encounters a land of giants. The ship manages to leave in time but Gulliver is left behind and captured.
Gulliver's captor is a farmer who takes him to his home and treats him kindly. The farmer assigns his daughter, Glumdalclitch, to be Gulliver's keeper.
The farmer takes Gulliver on tour across the countryside, displaying him to everybody.
The farmer sells Gulliver to the Queen. At court, Gulliver meets the King, and the two spend many hours discussing the customs and behaviors of England.
One day, on the beach, Gulliver is captured by an eagle and dropped into the sea. A passing ship spots the floating box and rescues Gulliver. He returns once again to England.
THE FOURTH JOURNEY, THE HOUYHNHMS (1710 - 1715)
Gulliver is captain of a ship for Barbados and while he is traveling some people of his crew become i'll and die.
He hires some replacement sailors in Barbados but they turn ot to be pirates who take control of the ship and leave Gulliver behind.
Gulliver is discovered by a herd of ugly and despicable human-like creatures who are called Yahoos. He is saved by the appearance of a horse, a Houyhnhnm.
The horsetakes Gulliver home and he meets his family. He learns about the Yahoos, dangerous creatures who are looked up and look exactly like humans.
The kingdom's Assembly determines that Gulliver is a Yahoo and must live with the Yahoos or return to his own world.
Gulliver builds a canoe and sails to a nearby island where he is rescued by a crew from a Portuguese ship.
He comes home but he is disgusted by humans and he can't even stand his family because they look like Yahoos. He spends his days conversing with a horse.
THE THIRD JOURNEY, LAPUTA (1706 - 1710)
Gulliver is on a ship to reach Japan. After arriving, he is assigned captain of a ship to visit the nearby islands.
On this trip, pirates attack the ship and place Gulliver in a small boat by himself.
Gulliver discovers a Flying Island called Laputa. All the people are preoccupied with things associated with maths and music.
Astronomers use the laws of magnetism to move the island and the island's movement's are in relation to the island below, Balnibarbi.
Gulliver visits also the islands of Glubbdubdrib, and Luggnagg and Balnibarni.
Gulliver finally arrives in Japan where he meets the Japanese emperor. He then goes back to England.
THE FIRST VOYAGE, LILLIPUT (1699 - 1702)
The ship Gulliver is traveling in ends up in a storm and it sinks.
Gulliver ends up on the Island of Lilliput and he meets the Lilliputians, who are very small people.
Gulliver helps them solve some their problems, especially their conflict with their enemy, Blefuscu.
Gulliver has to leave because he refuses to support the King's desire to enslave the Blefuscudians.
Gulliver goes to Blefuscu, where he finds a war ship, he repairs it and he leaves from Blefuscu. He's eventually rescued and he returns home.
