Agriculture-related knowledge: As I am from another country outside of the UK, I understand that it is essential for me to take the initiative in understanding the agricultural industry of my country. As example. The crops I learn here in the UK might not be suitable there. Even so, the core understanding might be similar.
Presentation skills: Although I see it as a skill that I am pretty good at, there are still some areas for improvement, especially regarding engaging with the audience and keeping their attention.
Time management: I am a pretty laid-back person and tend to do things last minute as I tend to be more motivated and more productive when getting close to the deadlines. This approach might be reasonable for individual work, but it may be problematic regarding team projects. Hence, when working as a group, I usually push myself to take time management more seriously as it could affect others.
Personality Traits
Optimistic: I usually find myself looking at the bright side whenever I am faced with problems. A positive attitude makes many things possible, even when there seems to be no way out. Being an optimist allows me to reason and to become persevere. Nevertheless, finding the balance between optimism and realism is crucial.
Empathetic: I am naturally quite sensitive to others' feelings and emotions. I can intuitively know how a person feels based on their words, face, and behaviour. Being so allows me to be more understanding and react accordingly. But also less judgemental towards others.
Introvert: My energy drained after some time of socialising, and I will then need alone time to recharge my battery. Furthermore, I am a thoughtful and reserved person that people might misunderstand as arrogant.
Inquisitive: I love to observe people and other things around me, which raises some questions in my head. The Internet undoubtedly is the primary source to find the answer. When people tell me stories, for example, I would usually ask questions to connect the dots I have in my mind.

Leading a team or being a part of a team: Working in a team gives me a sense of responsibility since what I do affects the whole group positively or negatively. Hence, it is very fulfilling to learn that my group has done great in something. At the same time, I understand that there might be a conflict here and there between group members that need to be solved.
Learning new things and skills: It is fascinating to me to explore new skills and knowledge as it could improve my worldview and helps in generating new ideas.
Coming up with creative ideas: Being able to contribute ideas not only gives a sense of achievement but also the feeling that I belong to a group of people.

I love hearing different perspectives from people who might come from various backgrounds and expertise. Whenever things do not go as planned, I am open to other options and to think and act rationally.
