Multiculturalism
There must be many challenges facing Indonesia's smaller and poorer minorities
They must negotiate artfully with the government over their cultural and economic interests if they are to benefit rather than simply withstand physical or cultural damage by the bulldozer of development.
While citizens of the United States are currently discussing the necessity and constitutionality of regulating ethnic "hate speech" on college campuses and elsewhere, Indonesia decided in favor of a government-regulated code of "political correctness" decades ago in order to curtail ethnic unrest.
Poverty
In 2007, the Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono administration introduced a cash transfer scheme called the Family Hope Program (PKH)
It also set up health insurance for the poor, a scheme that became the bedrock of the National Health Insurance (JKN) that we know today.
From those programs, we have learned two lessons that the government must heed to minimise the impacts of the pandemic on the poor.
Policies without safety nets leave the poor prone to shocks
Expand coverage to as many poor people as possible

Digital governance
Indonesia should have collaboration and partnerships in the promotion of effective digital governance.
Relevant innovations can (and have already) come from numerous sources, but implementation and sustainable benefits depend on greater integration of public and private efforts – within, as well as with each other – and the promotion of a more inclusive digital culture across the country
Malnourishment and hunger
to fight malnourishment and hunger Indonesia must have better education as the best weapon against poverty and hunger.
It is especially powerful in underdeveloped countries.
Education means better opportunity and more access to income and food
Additionally, some countries have food-for-education programs where students are given free food for coming to school.

Terrorism
Indonesia should work on upgrading its legal regime on countering the financing of terrorism in line with the international law requirement.
Indonesia should also build extensive national implementation capacity for criminal justice responses to terrorism.
